This was the first time the client had a car as part of sweepstaks. The deal with Jaguar came through at the last minute. So I had to pull this piece together while on vacation in the Bahamas, working off a 1st generation iBook. I decided to keep the elements to a minimum and allow the envelope to ‘breathe’.

This piece is part of the Jaguar series and the automobile series.

I created all the elements of this piece, the olympic ribbon was hand-made in Illustrator™ and the smart car had some major retouching.

This envelope was converted [printed + folded from scratch] so I could run my layout right up to the edges. The background wraps around the car like a custom photography stage, giving the car a grounding and a color splash of many hues.
